    Pauwau Events:
These are village gatherings called by the Pauwau [medicine person]
after consulting with the various energy aspects such as star alignments, cycles,
village challenges, etc. These are opportunities for growth, healing, learning, relaxing, etc. Beginning at sunrise, there are ceremonies, discussions, dream recall and interpretation, story telling during the day with drumming, singing and dancing at night after a feast.

    Sovereignty
Sovereignty is the normal state of every human. Some of us have forgotten what it is like. Others fear what being sovereign may cost. However, it is only by embracing our personal sovereignty that we can truly choose how we live, how we express our self and fulfill our purpose.

Wanisi do

Our mind and body connects to our Soul through our Heart.

Do You Know? - A “pauwau” is a
spiritual guide among the Algonquin peoples.
The Pauwau is responsible for the well being of all who
live in or visit his village. While focusing primarily on the
spiritual [everything has a basis in spirit], the Pauwau must
be familiar with all the physical, emotional and mental
aspects of human existence for each affects the spirit. To help
all maintain a healthy balanced life, the Pauwau calls
spiritual gatherings, lasting about 10 days, whenever
it appears to be beneficial to the village,
usually several times a year.
