What does it mean to be Sovereign?
        It means we decide our path. We make our own choices. We are responsible for our actions and reactions. We choose what we will experience, what we will allow in our life.

        Many of these choices are made prior to our entry into this life, prior to our birth into matter. They are made at soul level. We decide who our parents are, where we come in, when we will be born.

        The state of organized chaos allows us to each have our own experiences. We plan these experiences in varying degrees of detail prior to entry into the earth sphere. Certain aspects are left to be decided at the time of the event. This is where we consciously exercise choices. Often, these options are due to karmic conditions to be faced as a result of prior actions. Sometimes, they are new possibilities we wish to explore, to expand our evolving awareness.

        One of the areas we may wish to explore is cooperation between personality - our normal conscious self - and our soul self. This may require significant preparation such as training the mind.

        The mind can be trained via meditation, imagination and repetition. We can visualize images and recite mantras/sayings to form beneficial automatic responses and behaviors. We may find it preferable to choose our own actions/reactions than to do what is suggested by others. What others suggest may be for their benefit rather than for our mutual benefit.

        Since we are all connected, the thoughts and actions of each affect all to greater and lessor degrees depending on the conscious and/or unconscious acceptance or rejection by each of us. Our unconscious responses are based on prior programming. It is our responsibility to monitor and control our programming.

        Do we passively accept what influences us or do we actively choose our steps? Do we choose to say thank you, e.g., when experiencing a not so good happening or do we allow self to suffer a loss of energy by getting upset, out of sorts or feeling sorry for self. Do we look for the lesson to be learned? Do we search to see the opportunity being given us?

        Living with Anastasis, Earth, is not a spectator sport. It is a daily opportunity to make conscious choices and have new experiences in exercising responsibility while helping our brothers and sisters.

        Being Sovereign is accepting and exercising responsibility for our choice of thoughts, actions and reactions.
