Accept Feelings

        October 27, 2023

There are no wrong feelings. Some feelings however may not be good to keep permanently. We can accept them, examine them and then let them go. Feelings which lower our frequency, our vibration are best released.
We do not control feelings with thought. They influence thinking. We modify them with focus and love.

Feelings are the result of experience. All experience which produces feelings must be processed. It is the experience which is processed. In processing, we focus on why we feel this way, rather than on how we feel and its effect on us. The unprocessed feelings from our experiences accumulate in our energy field, our aura, with a cumulative effect. It is wise to process feelings, and the related experience, on a regular basis. Allowing them to build up may result in dis-ease of some sort, physical, mental, emotional or spiritual.

The first step in processing is to accept a feeling. Look at it. Acknowledge it. Next, examine why we feel the way we do in this instance. Ask self. The answer may be a surprise, something not previously thought. Then, thank the feeling for being present in our life. Finally, release it. It is easier to release it if we do the forgiveness exercise. We affirm our love for our self. We forgive our self. We affirm our love for whomever is connected with the feeling and we forgive them. This dilutes and eliminates our attachment so we can let it go.

Feelings may come from a one time experience or may be from a periodic event, daily, weekly, randomly, etc. The feelings from recurring events may decrease in intensity over time. If not, we may wish to change the pattern, sooner rather than later.

Feelings can range from degrading to uplifting. We welcome uplifting experiences but may dread their opposite. This dread, this negative anticipation, further lowers our energy levels. This alone may be enough incentive to change the pattern. The brain notices and pays attention to new patterns. This immediately affects the body, which brings about physical healing. Releasing not so good feelings may be the quickest way to heal what ails us. If it is ancestral grief, it also heals all involved.

To successfully navigate our experience as a spirit living in a material body, we must maintain our energy levels, our frequency. To do so, we can elevate the energy from time to time with actions and activities which generate good feelings such as singing, dancing, laughing, story telling, flying a kite, being in nature, soaring with a hawk, swimming with a dolphin, talking with a friend, holding a newborn, smiling, anything which raises our spirits. Replace not so good feelings with these anytime we wish to feel better.
Whatever we focus on is what we think about. Focusing on good feelings crowds out the not so good ones, replacing them.

        Our choice.
