Believe What you Know. NOW

        A major challenge now for some is to believe what we know. If we wonder whether we believe what our heart, our gut tells us is so, we can look at our actions.
        Are we acting in accord with what we know, or not? Are we sitting on the fence waiting for a bigger, more compelling fact to come along? Are we looking for a more congenial or less hostile atmosphere? Are we waiting for others to see as we see? Or for the best opportunity to appear? Is it too inconvenient? Are we making excuses? Are we doubting self?
        Many know there is an area in our life where we can improve. Perhaps, we can eat better or be more organized or get to places at the arranged times. Whether we do so or not is influenced by whether we believe we can or that it is good for us to do so or that we are deserving to treat ourselves in such a manner. Whatever is holding us back is a block.
        These blocks need to be cleared, to be let go. The first step in clearing a block is to recognize that this is how we feel. Acknowledge it. Then, decide we no longer wish to have this block in our life. That is, we wish the blocked condition to be present. Say, for example, that we wish to keep our appointments, arriving at the agreed time but we are usually late. We first recognize the pattern and acknowledge to self that we are usually late. How do we feel about this? Are we judging self? Love self. Forgive self. Release the judgement.
        Do we question why we act this way? We can ask self before we go to sleep and dream on it. Or we can ask after meditating and wait for the answer to show up. Or we can remember an incident that may have triggered this pattern. Are we copying someone else? Are we acting in rebellion? Are we late some times but on time for others? What are the different emotions we feel? Acknowledge them and let them all go. It is the holding on to feelings that is karmic. Feelings are what must be let go.
        As we release feelings, we see a change in our behavior. Now we can decide that we wish our new action to become our normal. Now we can choose to believe as we know and our actions will agree.
        As we remove the blocks to believing what we know, we free ourselves to acknowledge truth and to act in ways beneficial to self and others. We begin to build new patterns, new ways of being..
        And we are one with self.
