Now it is time to let go of what no longer serves us by replacing it with what benefits us and others, and is compatible with Terra. It is time to cease reacting to events caused by others. It is time to create new events to live by and with.

        What is it that no longer serves? How about economic slavery? This takes many forms. One such is instituted as income tax which is often evaded by those with means while burdening many others in various ways. Another is by taxing all necessary actions made necessary by those who would control others. Another is wages that are inadequate to maintain comfortably individuals and/or families, making it attractive to go into debt which further enslaves. Yet another is total disregard for people's choices by mandating when they can and cannot work, get health care and socialize. And then there is the underlying idea that money and profit are important ends in themselves, rather than prosperous living by all.

        There are many other areas where we may see a need for change.

        Are these situations individually reversible? Perhaps by a few. Probably not by many. A spirit of cooperation, sharing and brotherly love may be helpful prior conditions to forming collective decisions which are life changing, respectful and just. To make effective community decisions requires individual decisions to do so. As some individuals decide to cooperate and work together, more will get the idea and group changes then become possible.

        As individuals and small groups we can imagine what we would like to see and how life can be different for us personally. We can then picture how to achieve these dreams in a manner compatible with others and Terra. Then, take the actions which bring about the desired events.

        Our choice.
